Requirements for certification Level 3 Animal Energy Work
 
Dates: Saturday April 7, 9 am -2 p.m.
Saturday May 5, 4 – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday June 16, 9 am- 2 p.m.
Prerequisite:  Animal Energy work completion of Level 1 and 2
1.    Attend all 3 classes
2.    Treatment Plans - Prepare a treatment plan for these three dis-eases: Obesity, Thyroid  and coat and skin conditions
a.    prepare a treatment plan which includes dietary suggestions, one herb and one essential oil
b.    Make a decision tree with rationale for your choices for use in the care of the animal.
    1. your client may be a horse, dog or cat
 
  1. Student will perform a muzzle to tail assessment on a horse with faculty as handler/listener
 
  1. Practice and record 8-10 cases, submitting a brief review of the sessions. Note your observations of you and the animal. Plan to work with at least 3 animals of different species for these sessions. Present one of your case studies to students and to mentors as a learning tool.
 
  1. Research a food choice giving rationale for the health benefits offered by the one you choose. Do this for dogs, cats, horses. This is a brief study/overview format.
 
  1. Essential oil study
    1. Choose an essential oil and explore the highlights of this EO in one page including treatments, recipes and healing benefits
  2. Herb study
    1. Choose an herb and explore the highlights of this herb in one page including treatments, recipes and healing benefits 
 
 
 
Apprentice Program      Starts May 2012
 
 
 
1.    Provide mentoring for Level 1 and Level 2 students - total 5 hours
2.    Case Studies 10 hours logged and show use of Intake, Assessment and treatment form. Mentored feedback available.
3.    After completion of 10 case studies, plan 1 hour faculty observed work with feedback

  1. Horse Work
    1. 10 volunteer hours working around and with horses
 
 
  1. Essential oil study
    1. Choose three essential oils and explore the highlights of each EO including treatments, recipes and healing benefits. Length one page per EO.
 
  1. Herb study
    1. Choose three herbs and explore the highlights of each herb including treatments, recipes and healing benefits. Length one page per herb.
 
  1. Develop Your Emergency Kit  
    1. Have a physical kit – even if you have an empty box or card stand in for an item
    2. Choose 10 items for your kit. This may include essential oils, herbs, supplements, other treatment items. Give your reason for choosing each item (written)
    3. 3x5 card for each item listing indications for use, precautions, contraindications, suggested dosages and other valuable information
    4. Present your kit to students and mentors
 
  1. Apprentices prepare a case study for presentation to students and mentors. Include a review of lessons from this particular case.
 
  1. Apprentices may take any topic from Animal Energy Work lectures and prepare a 30 minute presentation for students and mentors. This is to be their own learning around the subject matter not a review of the topic as presented in class. This presentation includes learning goal(s) and handouts. 
 
Completion of Apprentice Program will be determined on individual basis.
Complete criteria for graduation
Minimum of 6 month commitment
